Superb early 19th-century Directoire period mahogany dining table with eight legs measuring 4.60 meters This beautiful table features eight legs, which is important for its stability given its considerable length. The legs are straight and end in casters (original casters). The table has five solid mahogany extensions with friezes. T he table and its five mahogany extensions have been hand polished in our workshops, allowing it to be used without a tablecloth. It is in perfect condition. The height below the seat frieze is 66 cm, allowing a comfortable seating. The extensions are posterior The table extends to 5.50 meters. Small Mahogany Empire Style Commode

A charming small mahogany commode in the Empire style, dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. It features four drawers in the front and rests on straight legs terminating with bronze mounts. The front legs are Empire style, while the rear legs are Louis XVI style, typical of Napoleon III furniture, which often displays a match of different styles. Indeed at this period cabinet makers we used to use the best of every style in a piece of furniture The drawers are decorated with a small inlay in lemon wood . Terrestrial Globe By J. Lebègue - 19th Century

a fine and rare 19th-century terrestrial globe by J. Lebègue and Co., Brussels. The globe features a superb cast-iron base with sculpted heads ending in lion's paws. This superb and rare globe is adorned with a graduated brass meridian circle and a central steel horizontal circle with an equatorial table displaying the months of the year and the signs of the zodiac. It is rare to find globes with both circles, especially one featuring the zodiac signs. A very beautiful globe in excellent condition, with no major damage or holes, and retaining very good colors.
